Rates effective from 4th October 2010
PARENTS FEES
- From $1.61 per hour depending on your entitlments for a WINZ childcare subsidy.
- Our basic rate is $5.45 per hour per child
- $7.98 per hour – (over 9.5 hours per day).
- A 10% discount is given to parents that have more than one child enrolled in our care. Conditions apply; call us at the office to see if your family meets these conditions.
20 HOURS FREE CHILDCARE
Bay Family Homebased Childcare provides all 3 and 4 year old children 20 hours of FREE childcare.
FOOD
Parents are asked to supply adequate, healthy and nutritional food for their children’s lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea.
CHILDCARE SUBSIDY
We can help you apply for a childcare subsidy, please phone WINZ to discuss your eligibility. (This could reduce your fees to as little as .$1.61 per hour depending on your income as assessed by WINZ).

FREE - Playgroup, Music group, & Kids Day Out.(excursion)
EDUCATORS REIMBURSEMENT
- $5.00 per hour, per child, while the care child is in your care. ($5.50 if you hold a diploma in ECE or higher)
- $4.70 per hour, if the care child is contracted for care, but absent on any day, or part day. ($5.00 if you hold a diploma or higher)
- $2.50 per hour, if the care child’s parent gives you a week’s notice of the care child’s absences. ($2.75 if you have your diploma)
- $2.00 per hour, illness reimbursement if you are unable to care on your care child's contracted day, at no cost to the parent. (upto 5 days & maximum 6 hours per day per child)
- $2.00 per hour per each enrolled child over our Christmas closure period as a holding fee at no cost to the parent.
- Lunch box or food.money contribution as prior arrangement with your care childs parent.
